Sorry for the negative post... *sigh*  It's just really bothering me today.  A lot.

We're 250-ish days away from our June 16th wedding and I'm so ready to just buy plane tickets instead. I wanted to elope in the first place, and my FH didn't, and our families didn't, so we aren't. Hi, I recently started talking to a few photographers. My wedding is still a long ways out, but I want to get as much done before I'm overwhelmed with school as I can. What specifics should I ask a photographer about? I know I want to see their work, possibly call references, and I know their rates and what's included in the rates.

Background since it's been ages: Caryn & Dave, Warwick, NY wedding on Sept 4, 2011. Purple & Red are the colors and the wedding will have a baseball theme.

Okay, a bit of context here: my younger sister (age 20) is my maid of honor, and she was a bit unenthusiastic about accepting the post, but I figured it's because she gets weird around romance, so I took it in stride.

I'm sure this is a standard thing, but how on earth does everyone deal with all these opinions and hatred towards your ideas??  We've only been engaged for a month, but so far everything I'm thinking about I've been shot down on, other than the venue (a beautiful historic mansion that we can rent from noon to midnight).

The short and short of it is my sister and her boyfriend of 6 years broke up about 2 weeks ago.

I'm getting married October 24, 2010. We are having a smallish wedding, around sixty people, mostly close friends and relatives. So far we are pretty much limiting plus ones to husbands/wives/serious boyfriends or girlfriends/ long term partners, and people either me or the almost husband have meet, and know personally.
